X-카드는 TRPG에서 사용하는 안전장치입니다. TRPG는 즉흥적으로 진행되며 어떤 상황이 일어날지 미리 예측할 수 없습니다. 게임이 원하지 않는 방향으로 흘러갈 가능성도 있습니다. X-카드는 플레이 도중에 불편한 내용을 생략하고 문제가 발생할 때 신속하게 해결하기 위한 도구입니다.
The X-Card is a safety tool used in tabletop roleplaying games. Roleplaying games are improvisational by nature, and we can’t predict what will happen ahead of time. There’s a chance that a game may go in an unwanted direction. The X-Card is a tool for removing uncomfortable content during play and resolving problems as they arise.
비대면 플레이 도중에 불편하거나 불안하게 만드는 내용, 대화, 상황 등 있으면 게임 채팅방에 ‘X’를 입력해 주세요 (혹은 롤20 등 툴 내에 있는 X-카드 기능을 사용해주세요). 대면 플레이면 ‘X’가 적혀있는 종이를 들거나 종이에 손을 언지는 등 신호해주세요. 종이가 당장 없으면 손가락으로 X 묘양을 만들어주셔도 좋습니다.
If there is any content, discussion, or situation that makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe during online play, please type an ‘X’ in the game chat room (or use the X-card function in a tool such as Roll20). During an in-person game, tap or hold up an index card with an ‘X’ written on it, or make an X shape with your fingers.
X-카드로 처리된 내용은 즉시 생략합니다. X-카드를 사용한 이유를 설명할 필요는 없습니다. 원하실 경우 잠시 휴식을 요청하셔도 좋습니다.
Anything that the X-Card is applied to is immediately omitted. You do not need to explain why you used the X-Card. You can also ask for a break if you wish.
이 외에 다른 안전장치를 선호하시면 게임 시작 시 참가자분들에게 제안해 주세요. 게임보다 게임에 참가하시는 여러분이 가장 중요합니다.
If there is another safety tool that you would like to suggest, please bring it up with the other participants at the start of the game. The people playing together are always more important than the game.
